Bio

Leela Sinha is an author, UU minister, and coach who is fascinated by pleasure, brains, trauma, and transformation.  She uses tools based in neuroscience, psychology, ritual, and ethics to help people understand themselves and the people around them.  Her first book, You’re Not Too Much: intensive lives in an expansive world, was published in July, 2016.  She spends her spare time at the beach or cuddling with her cats.

Employment

My first job was as a library page.  I was fourteen.  Since then I have been variously occupied including several stints in IT, cabinetmaking, massage therapy, technical theater, parish ministry, and now coaching, consulting, writing, and speaking.

Presentations and Publications

Speaking engagements or workshops at MomentumCon (2010 and 2011), First Universalist Church in Rockland, Maine (2012-2016, at least annually), First Parish Church of Portland, Maine (2014-present), and a number of other congregations for single preaching appointments.  Workshops also offered at Tenderness Gathering Place (Lunenberg, MA) and at congregations throughout the northeast since 1995.
